DoorDash wanted to tell the authentic story of their partnership with Hattie B's — one of Nashville's most beloved regional restaurants — in a way that felt inspiring, entertaining, and genuinely true to the brand. We embedded ourselves as an extension of the DoorDash team, managing the entire project and the relationship with Hattie B's end-to-end. After scouting directors across Nashville, we found the perfect match — someone with a real passion for the story and, crucially, spicy chicken. We then cast a local Nashville superfan alongside Hattie B's head chef for a taste-test style film that was as fun to watch as it was effective. The result was a 3-minute hero film, 10 stills, and multiple social cut-downs — generating 40K+ views, 500+ social engagements, and directly influencing both DoorDash Drive and Marketplace sign-ups.
